Girls on Chesil Beach
Chesil Beach is 22 miles of quite unique beach but there’s a big BEWARE as it’s very dangerous because of the beach break (the waves can dump stones on your head!) and the undertow which can drag you out to sea. Many good swimmers swim on the eastern end of the beach on a fine day when there’s no waves but be sure to always have your wits about you.
Portland Castle Beach
On the other side of the causeway (the strip of land that joins the Isle of Portland to the mainland andWeymouth) there is a great beach by Portland Castle right next door to the steel jetty used by the White Motor Boats for their regular trips to Weymouth.
